Mr. Martand Singh is a senior member of our corporate and projects, energy & infrastructure practices of the Firm and has been associated with the Firm since 2002.

He focuses on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, inbound foreign investments and outbound investments by residents, private equity and venture capital investments, divestment of business and business assets, media and entertainment transactions as well as offers general corporate and commercial counseling and advisory on an ongoing basis to his clients.

In addition to his corporate practice, Martand leads the projects, energy, natural resources and infrastructure practice at the Firm and has substantial experience in advising clients on energy projects, ports, transport and other infrastructure transactions and related project finance transactions.

Martand operates out of our Mumbai and Bangalore offices. He additionally heads the Bangalore office in his capacity as Regional Head – South.

He has been listed as a key practitioner in the ‘Projects, Energy and Infrastructure’ practice areas by Chambers and Partners and Asia Pacific Legal 500 and in ‘Corporate’ practice area by Indian Lawyer 250. He has been a speaker/ panelist at various conferences and seminars organized by universities, business associations and other bodies on Foreign Direct Investment, M&A, and other topical issues.
