Shailashri Bhaskar, a former deputy general manager at SEBI, is associated with our corporate practice as an “Of Counsel”. She has been in practice for the past 22 years with specialization in SEBI related areas. Her practice includes conduct of due diligence for IPO and takeovers, drafting of offer documents in an IPO, Rights Issue, Open Offer under Takeover Regulations, advising companies on compliances under the SEBI Regulations, appearance before SEBI and registration of intermediaries with SEBI. She also assists in registering AIFs, Portfolio Managers and Investment Advisers. She is also associated with AIFs, PMs and IAs in their regular compliances.

She is a regular speaker at various programs and seminars on a variety of topics relating to Capital Markets. She is one of the specialist editors to the latest edition of Ramaiyya’s Guide to the Companies Act, 2013 and M.C. Bhandari’s Guide to Company Law Procedures. She has also co-authored a book on the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 and is an author of books on the SEBI (ICDR) Regulations, 2018, SEBI (SAST) Regulations, 2011 and SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015.
