State of Haryana revises e-stamping norms
The Haryana Finance Department vide an internal memo dated 01.05.2017 (“Revised Instructions”) has partially modified its previous instructions dated 02.02.2017 and 07.03.2017 wherein e-stamping was made mandatory for all non-judicial stamp papers of any denomination.
In terms of the Revised Instructions, w.e.f. 01.05.2017, the Treasuries/Sub-Treasuries will issue physical non-judicial stamp papers and special adhesive stamps for all denomination up to Rs. 100/- to the stamp vendors which will then be sold to general public. E-stamping for non-judicial stamp papers for denomination more the Rs. 100 will continue.
