SEBI : New norms for buyback of securities, issue of capital & disclosure requirements and other amendments
Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on September 11, 2018 has introduced new norms for buyback of securities and issue of capital and disclosure requirements. SEBI, on the same day, has further amended Takeover Code and credit rating agencies regulations. On September 6, 2018, SEBI has also introduced a new chapter VIIIA in Listing Regulations regarding obligations of listed entities which have listed security receipts and made certain other amendments in Listing Regulations in respect of the same.
