Competition Commission of India (CCI) imposes penalty for bid-rigging in coal transportation auctions- The CCI has imposed a penalty of almost Rs. 12 Crore on 10 entities for allegedly colluding in four tenders for coal and sand transportation

CCI dismisses allegations of cartelization against the Reserve Bank of India and 19 other banks- The CCI has dismissed allegations against RBI and 19 other banks for colluding with respect to safe deposit locker facility provided by banks inter alia on the ground that there was insufficient evidence to prove cartelization against the banks.

European Court of Justice sets aside judgement of General Court against Intel Inc. – The European Court of Justice in an appeal filed by Intel Inc. against the decision of the General Court upholding the fine of €1.06 billion imposed on it by the European Commission remitted the case back to the General Court on the ground that the General Court failed to consider Intel Inc.’s arguments whether the rebates at issue are capable of restricting competition
