Mr. Padmanabhan Nair is a Principal Associate with the Mumbai office and has been associated with the Firm since 1997. He has extensive experience in advising clients on India entry strategies and setting up of subsidiaries, branch/ liaison/ representative offices and general legal counseling for businesses. In addition to his general corporate practice, Mr. Nair focuses on working closely with regulators like the Reserve Bank of India, Registrar of Companies, the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), the stamp authorities, the Sub-Registrar of Assurances and various other Government and statutory authorities.

As a part of his employment practice, he advises in respect of compliance of employment laws and regulations and all matters regarding expat personnel, such as support regarding the acquisition of residency permits from FRRO and assistance in relation to taxation issues.
